About Charles E. Douglas
Since 1975, Charles E. Douglas, of Norman, has been litigating criminal cases in Courtrooms throughout the State. As a result of over 100 criminal jury trials, Mr. Douglas has developed a reputation as a seasoned trial lawyer. Known for his ability to sway jurors with sharp cross-examination and passionate argument, few have experienced his level of success in the courtroom.
His 13 years with the District Attorney’s Office honed his Courtroom talents. In 1994 he was named the co-recipient of the “Outstanding Assistant District Attorney” award for the State of Oklahoma. His office is located in Norman, but he defends clients throughout the State of Oklahoma. Charles has earned the highest level (AV) in Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings for his ethical standards and legal ability.
He is also a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Cleveland County Bar Association, and the Oklahoma Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and is licensed in all federal courts, including the United States Supreme Court.
